Classes
Mia of Soul Kisses is proud to present new classes for November 2007! She has experience teaching many different mediums
through her art gallery, parks and recreation, and many other stores in the area. She provides a safe space to create encouraging
each student to find their own muse and their gifts. She likes to follow the concept that art has no rules and to create
with freedom and expression of one's self.
Please note that all
classes are held at the Log Cabin at Sacred Groves and all classes are scent free. thank you

Clay Lightswitch
Plate November 6th 2-4pm
Create this beautiful Polymer Clay Light Switch Plate. A lovely way to enhance your home with a handmade piece
of art. We will learn the basics of working with polymer clay, flattening with a pasta machine and covering a metal light
switch cover. We will work with stamps and/or texture and use pigment powders to bring out the look of copper metal. If
you choose we can add on a face or other design.
$25 plus $8 supply

Faux Raku Mask
Making November 13th 2-4pm
Create this stunning faux raku mask of paper mask, painted and embellished with pigment powder to create the
look of raku pottery adding raffia, feathers, stone and other chosen embellishments. A great expression of creativity!

Miniature Altars November 20th 2-4pm
We will be making this cute mini altar recycling those great mint tins, adding handmade papers, collage materials,
wire, beads, sticks, stones and whatever your heart desires. Many different supply options will be made available. Feel
free to bring any desired additions to your creations!

Dragonfly Totem November 23rd 2-4pm
Create this fun dragonfly totem from a found stick, feathers, varigated or gold leafing, beads, skeleton leaves,
marbles and a wood burner. You may also choose to build another animal of choice. Please take time to find a stick to bring
to class for your creation. I will also have some available but find your stick will be part of the fun!
$20 plus $6 supply fee

Monthly Art
Swap & Pot Luck November 25th 12:00-2:00pm
Theme: Art Dolls (choose any form of doll making, stuffed, found
objects, beads, etc..)
Come join our Art Swap for November!!
How an art swap works is there will be a theme for the month, if you decide
to join, please email me and let me know if you would like to join by the 15th and we will meet on the last Sunday of the
month to exchange our creations. This is a great way to commit to creating every month and to get another's great pieces
of art!! It is so much fun!! Remember there are no rules for creating, just find your muse and express your creativity!
